Decision Lab to onboard top-notch graduates as new consultants

As COVID-19 becomes under control in Vietnam, market research company Decision Lab expands with the newest addition of four consultants.

The recruitment once again reflects the  considerable growth of the Ho Chi Minh City based company, following its mission of making marketing more agile, data driven, and decision-focused.

Decision Lab CEO and co-founder, Aske Østergård, said:

“Each year, Decision Lab makes it our priority to welcome the brightest talents onto our team.

Our team members must possess strong analytical skills. In addition, they should be adaptable - whether they need to advise our clients’ ever-changing needs, or to master the use of the newest technologies and solutions in market research.

This Spring 2020, after interviewing a competitive pool of applicants, we are excited to welcome four new consultants. These new faces truly impress us with what they can bring to the table here at Decision Lab. As a tradition, our welcome gift is a comprehensive market research bootcamp. After which, they will be able to utilize all the resources that Decision Lab offers to deliver quality results to clients”

The new Labsters

The new consultants are graduates from the top universities in the US and the UK: London School of Economics, Macalester College, University of Bath, and Mount Holyoke College. While having vastly different backgrounds ranging from psychology to economics, they all identify as creative problem solvers and fearless decision makers. Among them, 7 languages are spoken (plus a common love language for food).

The Bootcamp

The consultants will begin their journey at Decision Lab with a 2.5-week bootcamp. This bootcamp gives them an intensive and comprehensive introduction to Decision Lab’s solutions, research methodology, the Online Community, and many more. Consultants will conduct a mock research project, and present their findings at the end of the bootcamp.

18-month training period

Following the bootcamp, the consultants will begin a 18-month program with team rotations. They will work alongside seasoned consultants, and get hands-on experience with a variety of projects. During this period, they will have the opportunity to join different teams to gain knowledge from all company functions. Once they complete both the bootcamp and the program, they will graduate as generalists with a strong research foundation and the ability to advise clients.

Decision Lab is dedicated to the ongoing training and professional excellence of its employees. Learn more about Careers at Decision Lab here.
