Decision Lab Best Bank Rankings 2026 ranks Vietnam's top 20 banks using the YouGov BrandIndex proprietary Index score - the 12-month average of six brand-health dimensions: Impression, Quality, Value, Satisfaction, Recommend and Reputation. Key highlight points:

  • MB takes the top spot. MB overtakes Vietcombank to lead Vietnam's banks with an Index score of 32.2, ahead of Vietcombank (31.1) and BIDV (22.3).

  • MB and Techcombank are the movers of the year. MB rose 3.9 points and Techcombank 2.4 — the two biggest gains in the ranking, both climbing while holding the top private-bank spots.

  • Momentum signals brand health. The top improvers — MB (+3.9), Techcombank (+2.4), and Vietcombank (+0.9) — mark where perception is actively strengthening.
