This report provides an in-depth exploration of consumer behaviour in Vietnam’s food delivery sector and a comparative analysis of the leading platforms - ShopeeFood, GrabFood, and BeFood.
Key findings reveal that food delivery has become an integral part of daily life for many urban Vietnamese consumers. In major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, nearly two-thirds of residents used food delivery apps in the past month (P1M), reflecting widespread adoption.
While ShopeeFood currently holds the leading position in the market, it faces strong and ongoing competition from GrabFood, underscoring the dynamic and fast-evolving nature of this sector.
